Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains what personal data Liinom collects when you useliinom.com or contact us, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the business.

Who we are

Liinom is a software studio providing web development, software engineering and AI consulting services. For questions about this policy or your data, contact us at[email protected].

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the contact or demo request form we collect your name, email address and anything else you choose to include — typically your company, country, budget range, timeline and a description of your project. We collect this only to respond to your enquiry and to prepare a proposal.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider processes standard server logs, including IP address, user agent and requested URL, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If we run analytics, we use a privacy-respecting, cookie-free provider that does not track you across other websites and does not build an advertising profile of you.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function or to remember a preference you have set.

Why we can process your data

  • Consent — when you submit an enquiry form and tick the consent box.
  • Legitimate interests — keeping the site secure and available, and responding to business enquiries.
  • Contract — where we are delivering services you have engaged us for.
  • Legal obligation — where accounting or tax law requires us to keep records.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to operate — hosting and content delivery, transactional email, and business tools such as email and file storage. Each processes data only on our instructions and under a data processing agreement. Where data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we rely on the appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Client project records are kept for as long as we work together and for the period required afterwards by tax and accounting rules. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Residents of California and other US states with privacy legislation have comparable rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS everywhere), least-privilege access to systems, multi-factor authentication on business accounts, and regular dependency scanning. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and current measures to protect your data.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use data you already gave us will be communicated directly where we hold your contact details.

This policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. Have a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction review it before you rely on it commercially.
