FAQ

Questions we get before signing

If yours is not here, ask us directly — we answer plainly.

How do you work with clients in different timezones?
We keep live hours that overlap with both US Eastern and Central European time every working day. Standups, demos and calls happen inside your working day. Everything else runs asynchronously in Slack or Teams with written weekly updates, so progress never depends on both of us being awake at once.
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. After the discovery call we send a written proposal with a fixed scope and a fixed price. If you later want something outside that scope, we quote it separately and you decide — the original number does not move on its own. The only variable costs are third-party services like hosting or API usage, which you pay directly to those providers.
Who owns the code and the accounts?
You do, from the first commit. We work in your GitHub organisation where possible, deploy to infrastructure in your name, and hand over every credential at launch. There is no proprietary framework you have to keep paying us to maintain.
What if we already have a codebase?
That is common. We start with a paid technical audit — architecture, dependencies, security, performance and the parts nobody wants to touch — then give you a prioritised plan. We can take over maintenance, extend the product, or help your in-house team do it.
How quickly can you start?
Discovery calls are usually available within a day or two, and the proposal follows within one working day of that call. Small sites can often start the same week — the fastest we turn one around is a week from kickoff to live. If you have a hard launch date, tell us early and we will be straight with you about whether it is realistic.
How do payments work?
Smaller projects are split simply: 50% to book the slot, 50% on delivery. Larger builds are broken into milestones, typically 40% to start, 30% at an agreed midpoint and 30% on delivery. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. We invoice in USD or EUR and accept bank transfer, card and Wise.
Do you sign NDAs and DPAs?
Yes to both, before any technical detail is shared. We handle personal data under GDPR principles, keep client environments separated, and are happy to work inside your security review process.
What happens after launch?
Every project includes post-launch support for bug fixes — 14 days on Launch, 30 on Build. After that you can move to a monthly support retainer from $90, come back for a new scope, or take it fully in-house. All three are fine with us.
